Course: Introduction to Leatherwork

These one day courses are a chance to try your hand at leatherworking in the inspirational setting of St Fagans National Museum of History.


Working as part of a small group under the guidance of Geraint Parfitt, the Museum clog maker, you’ll learn how to cut and stitch and shape leather to create your own beautiful travel pouch.

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners - the price includes all materials and equipment required for the day.

You are welcome to bring a packed lunch or visit our on-site catering facilities. We can offer a 10% discount to course participants in our catering outlets* on production of your ticket. *(excludes Derwen Bakehouse)

This courses will be held at St Fagans National Museum of History. Use postcode CF5 6XB for navigation.

Parking

Please park in the visitor car park, a charge of £6 per car applies and can be paid by cash or card. 

Language

This course will be held in the first language of the facilitator - which is English.

Age Guidance

16+. (16-18 year olds must be accompanied by a participating adult)
