Wedding receptions can be accommodated in our marquee set on the Castle Lawns. Available seasonally May to September 4pm to midnight.

Our Marquee hire inclusive of all of the following:

  • Hire of Castle Lawn with Museum security presence throughout
  • Connection to electricity (limited supply)
  • Nearby parking for bridal party
  • Use of Castle Courtyard public toilets.

  • Reception/bar area
  • Wooden floor with carpet
  • Full ivory colour linings, overlays and swags (choice of coloured overlays available)
  • Porch entrance
  • Connecting catering section
  • Chandelier lighting

  • Star light lining over the dance floor
  • Banqueting tables (sitting 8-10) and trestle tables for the top table (the number of tables varies depending on chosen number of guests)
  • Chivari or banqueting chairs suitable for chair covers

  • Trestle tables for catering, gifts and guestbook.
