Materia Medica

This materia medica collection was donated to Amgueddfa Cymru — National Museum Wales by Professor Terence Turner OBE in 2007. Together with Dr Victoria Purewal, the Botanical Conservator, the collection has been made accessible and the information updated.

The data provided on this spreadsheet is courtesy of several years work and is an initial draft that has been requested to be made available for access from other institutions and researchers. This current spreadsheet is a temporary measure as it is anticipated that the Materia Medica collection will be fully digitised and placed onto a searchable database, and this will hopefully be in place by the end of 2014.

The data present within this spreadsheet is copyright of Amgueddfa Cymru — National Museum Wales. All users are welcome to access the data but please acknowledge the work to AC-NMW.
