Ticketing Terms and Conditions

Ticketing Terms and Conditions

All tickets are sold subject to these conditions. Please read these conditions carefully prior to making an order. By purchasing tickets, you are entering in to an agreement with Amgueddfa Cymru on these terms.

Please check tickets carefully as errors cannot always be corrected and refunds will not be made other than in accordance with these Conditions.

All visitors must be in possession of a valid Ticket to gain entry to the relevant event. Proof of identity and/or entitlement to concessionary rates may be requested on entry.

If there is a problem with your tickets, or if you have any questions or feedback, please contact us on ticketing@museumwales.ac.uk

Refund Policy

Amgueddfa Cymru have a non-refundable ticketing policy.

Customers will only be provided with a refund if the event or activity has been cancelled by the Museum or Museum closure has taken place due to circumstances out of our control.

If an event is cancelled, the Museum will sometimes reschedule to a new date. If this occurs we would aim to transfer as many ticket holders as possible to attend on the revised date. If the rescheduled date is not suitable for your party, a full refund will be offered.

Should an Event or Exhibition be cancelled, we will attempt to contact you (by email to the email address provided in your order) in advance to arrange substitute tickets. Please check your email inbox before travelling to the Museum to avoid an unnecessary journey should this be the case.

Please note that travel or accommodation expenses will not be compensated should an event or activity be cancelled or re-arranged for an alternative date.

Concession tickets

When purchasing a concession ticket online or by phone please ensure you bring the appropriate identification with you as you may be asked to show it (eg. Student ID). Concessionary rates cannot be applied retrospectively.

You are advised to check age suitability for an event before ordering tickets as not all events are suitable for children. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+), parent or guardian and must each have a valid ticket.

Pricing and processing fees

Prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes and when purchasing online, tickets may be subject to a transaction booking fee. Once you have paid, we will not increase the price of your tickets.

Prices displayed on the website are subject to change without notice.

Ticket orders must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Your ticket order and our agreement is not complete until payment has been successfully made.
