Steer was a leading representative of Impressionism in England and his students at the Slade School of Art included Augustus and Gwen John and J.D.Innes. This is the first of several paintings of Lilian Montgomery. Not a professional model, she is here aged fourteen and dressed in Paris high fashion of 1904.

I saw the original with my partner in 2012 and would very much like to get a print for him as he was entranced by it. I believe it was coming out of copyright in January 2014. Help!!
