I am now 63 years old and was brought up at Berth Farm Bodfari, I used to visit Phillida on most Sunday afternoons during my Childhood and after, I used to and still feal that she was a magical person with a home that smelt of honey and lavander. Although never very good she inspired me to paint and gave me my first set of paints and brushes. I have sent Philida a Christmas card every year either to her home in Bodfari or to her home in London and truly regret not visiting this last summer when she was in Bodfari.
I am not aware of her relatives but will send cards to both Bodfari and London.

Dearest Philida rest in Pease you were a remarkable lady.

I've recently had the pleasure to meet this artist in person. She was remarkable and implied she may do another exhibition as her home was full of finished and part finished work.

She has inspired me to visit the museum and view these works. I very pleased to see her work on display. She is now 91 but looks not a day over 70.
