Dear Marie-Claude,
Thank you for your enquiry. I am looking into the possibility of some link between the two. There are similarities as they both produced landscapes of the locality in which they lived at the time, whether in Italy, Wales or England. Both were Welsh-born artists and Thomas Barker actually named his son, Thomas Jones Barker.

Can a link be made - some 10 years or so apart - between Thomas Barker's oils on paper and Thomas Jones' ones?
