I would like to correct the information you have on Benjamin Haughton. He was born in Little Sutton, The Wirral, Cheshire on 13/09/1865 and died on 31/07/1924 in East Down, near Barnstaple, Devon aged 58. He was my great, great uncle. He came from a long line of Quakers [although I am not sure if he himself was a Quaker] who went from Westmoreland to Ireland and eventually settled in Yorkshire. Benjamin went to Cambridge University before marrying Janet Mable Mason who, I understand, was a potter.
Sometime, when I am in Cardiff, I would like to come and see the painting you have in your collection.
