No Môr Plastic

We live on a blue planet.  Three quarters of the world is covered by water, with almost 250 000 different marine species. But can we protect them from one of the biggest threats of our lifetime- plastic? 2018 is the year of the sea and the National Museum Cardiff Youth Forum have decided to use our museum for environmental activism during National Marine Week.

From the 31st of July until the 5th of August, sea plastic will fill our sea life exhibitions at National Museum Cardiff. The youth forum will create installations using real sea plastic from Welsh beaches to raise awareness on the damage plastic is causing to the waters and wildlife of our fragile coasts. Come to see the intervention, support the youth forum’s activism and learn more about what you can do to fight the plastic threat!
