To mark the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death National Museum Cardiff will be displaying twelve of his greatest drawings as part of #Leonardo500 – a national celebration of this extraordinary artist.

But Leonardo wasn’t just an artist – he was a scientist, engineer and inventor and much, much more so we are teaming up with Cardiff University’s School of Engineering to provide a family friendly evening of scientific, hands-on activities and entertainment inspired by some of his greatest ideas.

Tickets for this amazing evening can be booked at www.eventbrite.co.uk and are free!

In partnership with Cardiff University’s School of Engineering.

Leonardo da Vinci: A Life in Drawing Exhibition will be open on the evening for you to visit, however please note there is an additional charge of £5 adults, £4 concessions and 16 years & under are free. There is a limited capacity in the Gallery so entry will be on a first come first served basis. Remember though that it will be open until 6 May if you want to pop back in another time!

Some of our staff speak Welsh, some are learning and others speak English only. Keep an eye out for the Iaith Gwaith lanyards to see who’s who. If you’re learning Welsh, give it a go!
