Dippy has arrived at last and the Giving Nature a Home team in Cardiff are very excited!

We would love you to come and join us in becoming natural history adventurers, going back in time to explore all things Dippy such as his long-lost habitat and his friends.

There will be a range of activities for all ages from fossil hunting to dino jumping, tiny diny habitats to ginormous Jurassic challenges. This family-friendly event allows you to connect with nature and develop a deeper understanding of what makes the world tick.

The Living Levels project will also be giving you the chance to experience life as a prehistoric stone age hunter on the neighbouring Gwent Levels Severn Estuary coastline, as they made their home and tracked wild beasts across the muddy foreshore!

These are free, ‘drop-in’ sessions which will run twice a day 11am-1pm and 2pm - 4pm.

In partnership with RSPB Cymru

Some of our staff speak Welsh, some are learning and others speak English only. Keep an eye out for the Iaith Gwaith lanyards to see who’s who. If you’re learning Welsh, give it a go!
