Taking place in National Museum Cardiff’s beautiful Main Hall, this unique painting party is something you won’t want to miss. Make memories to cherish. Everyone is welcome – so bring the whole family! (recommended age 6+).

Topic: CLAUDE MONET’S ‘SAN GIORGIO MAGGIORE BY TWILIGHT’
Did you know we have famous Monet paintings on display at National Museum Cardiff?
Not only will you have a chance to see the painting up close, but this is a rare opportunity to recreate your own version of a Claude Monet painting, using different paint brushes, and fun mark making methods, such as finger painting and natural materials.
Our family painting party is hosted by local artist Rachel Rasmussen. She will guide you through step-by-step easy instructions, while painting along with you.
Important information:
- All materials will be provided and are included in the ticket price.
- The museum restaurant will be open until 4.30pm. Grab a a drink and join the fun.
- This is a family friend event that’s suitable for all ages and abilities (recommended age 6+).
- Children must be always supervised and must not be left unattended or to take part without a guardian. This is an event for all the family, and we strongly encourage the adults to book on too, so you can enjoy the painting experience together.
- Tickets are non-refundable and spaces are very limited. Grab your tickets while you can!
- Tickets include an exclusive visit to our impressionist gallery (after the gallery has closed to the public). This is a chance to see and admire the original Monet painting that you’ll be recreating.
- This session will be delivered and guided in the artists first language, which is English.
