Is this picture a copy of the Thomas Wood portrait that was once in the Priory at Brecon and referred to in an article in the The Glamorgan Monmouth and Brecon Gazette and Merthyr Guardian 25th January 1834

In y Gaer Brecknock Museum and Art Galleryi is a portrait of Thomas Wood but there is no artists name. It appears on the ART UK Website as Colonel Thomas Wood of Gwernyfed
unknown artist . Do you think the picture you hold of Thomas Wood is a copy of this? If so we can now properly attribute the Brecon portrait to Hayter
