I am a volunteer for the Nautical Archaeology Society.
Currently I am researching a shipwreck off the south Wales coast called SS Leysian as part of the project Commemorating the Forgotten U-boat War around the Welsh Coast 1914-18 being run by the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales.
Leysian was originally a German ship (named Serak) but was seized at the beginning of WW1 and then given as a prize to the Liverpool shipping firm Frederick W. Leyland & co. Are you aware of any photographs of SS Leysian? She wrecked off the Pembrokeshire coast on 20th February 1917? the wreck was apparently visible for around 8 months until she finally broke up.
