Armchair
back panel of chair bears the arms of the three ravens, the personal arms of Sir Rhys ap Thomas, enclosed within the Garter and its famous motto 'Honi soit qui mal y pense'. Above the back panel is a foliate top rail with a mask in the centre and also rosette-carved rails beneath the seats. This panel and the carved rails are the only original 16th century parts; the arms, arm support, legs and stretchers are replacements dating to the end of 19th century = early 20th century
