Welsh Folk Museum Answer Book, 1958, written in Welsh by Mrs E. M. Davies (Cross Inn, Llanon) on the history of Hafod-Fawr farm, Cross Inn, Llanon as given to her by Alban Jones, Whitehall, Pennant who lived there for five years in the period around 1900. Answer Books were sent out by the Welsh Folk Museum in 1958 to individuals across Wales as a way of collecting and documenting information on aspects of folk culture in their areas, including agriculture, crafts, food, customs and dialects. The responses were hand-written in the books. The Answer Books had a similar purpose to the earlier questionnaires sent out in 1937.
