Plate, hard-paste porcelain, circular shape with short cylindrical foot-rim, cushion-moulded sides and spreading rim; the well finely painted in brilliant polychrome enamels on a white ground with a still life including fruit, vegetables, flowers and leaves, this encircled by a heavy gilt band decorated with a raised anthemion pattern, the rim painted in blues and reds to imitate porphyry, a plain heavy gilt line encircling the rim.
