Post-Medieval silver bodkin
Lower shaft and point of a silver bodkin-type dress-pin. The lower end of the slot on the bodkin survives, and it is likely that when complete it also had a perforation (eye) at one end. The shaft has a flattened quadrangular cross-section with bevelled edges, and is undecorated. The object is bent. The bodkin is 17th century in date.
