Person / Body: Jones, Miss Jennie A.
Crazy patchwork bedcover of silk and velvet made up in nine squares, with maroon border decorated with ribbon rose buds and embroidery. Wine coloured silk lining. Various embroidered motifs on patches. Made in 1884 by Miss Jennie A. Jones, a Welsh-American from Chicago. The bedcover supposedly won first prize at the Chicago Exhibition of 1884.
