Seal impression: Royal
Obverse. The king enthroned, holding in his left hand an orb surmounted by a cross, in his right hand a long sceptre topped by a bird, and wearing a crown (? flory) and loose robe; the throne bears four pinnacles but lacks the ogee arch of R57 (25.384/225) and the seat is lower; the corbel of the plinth at base of the throne is replaced by indistinct foliage and the king’s feet rest upon two facing lions dormant couchant; between their necks is (on distinct impressions) a small quatrefoil, perhaps an engraver’s mark; in field, to either side, three lions passant guardant in pale.
