Rectangular oak box with iron hinged lid, with lock; front panel divided into 2 sections separated by 2 lines of beading; upper portion is decorated in fruitwood and bog oak with scroll inlay similar to examples found in South Pembs., Gower and Vale of Glamorgan; scrolls terminate in diamonds, 2 of which have been replaced at a later date.
