An inspection booklet which was used in quarries in accordance with the ‘Quarries General Regulations, 1938’. Each entry notes which section of the quarry has been inspected, and in accordance with which rule e.g. ‘all bargains including tops in accordance with Rule 52 A a B, reports the result of the inspection e.g. ‘found in safe working order’, the time the inspection was started, time the inspection was finished, the name of the person inspecting, and the date. This inspection booklet was kept by Mr O.R.Williams, and records inspections made between 8 January 1947 and 1 October 1948. Inspections made between 4 October 1948 and 21 October 1948 are recorded by Mr W.O.Roberts It is unknown inspection of which part of the quarry are noted in this booklet as the front cover is missing.
