I wonder if you can help. I have a photograph of what I believe to be my great great grandfather at Talygarn dated 1930. I wonder if there is away to view records of residents in order for me to verify my family tree.
Regards
Debbie Davies
I still hold great admiration for all of the staff there, starting with Mr Raghunathan (orthopaedic surgeon), Mr Price (physio therapist) and all the other members of the Talygarn team that brought me and countless others to recovery from life changing injuries.
I believe that either Glamorgan Record Office or the South Wales Miners' Library in University of Wales, Swansea, may have an archive connected with Talygarn.
Any problems please give me a ring on 02920 573660.

Thank you very much for your enquiry. I’ve sent it to my colleague who is one of our curators. He will be able to advise further.
Kind regards.

Are there archives that would help me find out more about my photo and my great grand father?
