Baling Hay
Artist: DUNBAR, Evelyn Mary (Evelyn Dunbar (1906-1960) was commissioned as an Official War Artist in 1940 to record the work of women during the Second World War.)
Depiction of six women from the Women's Land Army or Land Girls as they were referred to, baling hay in a field. They are working with a threshing machine and wearing the uniform of the Women's Land Army.
