Surgical shoe
Black leather surgical boot (right foot) with undyed leather lining and flat sole. 18 pairs of lace holes and metal ring eyelets (painted black). Tab of black cotton twill tape at centre back opening. Black laces. The inside of the boot is shaped from wood (?) to raise the foot and to give a solid support for when the boot would have been inserted into a 'normal' shoe for wear (There are signs of wear on the uppers to show that this would have happened, in addition to the fact that the sole is made from soft leather and that there are no signs of wear on it). The upper is constructed from 2 pieces of leather.
