Neolithic pottery vessel
Thick rolled rim in a smoothed vesicular fabric (fabric 2), which is dark reddish-brown (5YR 3/2) to black in colour, and which is probably from a vessel at least 240mm in diameter. The rim itself is 14mm thick and the vessel body beneath thins to 7mm.
