Producer: Irminger, Johann Jakob (Irminger was the Dresden court silversmith and was closely involved with the Meissen porcelain manufactory during the first decade of its existence, responsible for overseeing design. He is listed in the manufactory personnel list of 1710, where his work is defined as 'so die Inventiones und neuen Desseins besorget', and he was almost solely responsible for the design of Böttger stoneware and porcelain. Teapot and cover, Böttger red stoneware, standing on a flat base, squat, globular shape, c-scroll handle, metal spout terminating in a mask, domed cover, metal bud finial, circular ray moulded decoration on body, moulded border of lambrequins on shoulders, fluted cover.
