Portrait medallion of Josiah Wedgwood, solid pale blue jasper, oval form framed by an applied laurel border in white around the edge, to the centre an applied relief in white of the head and shoulders of a male figure in profile to the left and with hair tied back in a ponytail and wearing a coat and frilled cravat.
