M.V. PEEBLES (4), (4982 gt). Built 1936 by Wm Doxford & Sons, Sunderland for B.J.Sutherland of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. 1951 - Sold to Westralian Farmers Transport and renamed SWANSTREAM. (A bows view of her at New South Wales State Library confirms her as this ship). 1957 - Sold to J. Manners & Co., Hong Kong renamed SAN FERNANDO. 1965 - Sold to Yong & Lee Timber renamed PHOENICIAN STAR and scrapped in 1967 at Hong Kong.
