War Medal 1939-45 awarded to Sergeant Glyn Griffiths.
Llandudno-born Sergeant Griffiths flew Hawker Hurricanes of No.17 Squadron during the Battle of Britain, July-October 1940. He destroyed at least six enemy aircraft.
