The Recipe

You will need

  • cheese
  • milk
  • beer
  • salt and pepper
  • a slice of bread (toasted)


  1. Put a large piece of cheese in a saucepan, add a little milk and beer. 
  2. Season with salt and pepper. 
  3. Slowly mix the melting cheese with the milk and beer, and bring to the boil. 
  4. Pour over the toast and serve while warm.
