The sons of Mrs J.M. Gresham, J. F. and C. A. Gresham, in costumes worn by them in the Harlech Pageant, 1922. Pageants were theatrical events that re-enacted historical events and legends from Welsh history. Pageants included local participants with notable figures from society, such as Prime Minister David Lloyd George, his wife Dame Margaret and their family taking some of the lead roles.
