Banqueting Hall, Cardiff Castle, early 20th century

The Banqueting Hall is on the site of the old medieval hall. It is one of the many rooms designed by the architect, William Burges. From 1866 Burges was employed by the 3rd Marquess of Bute to redesign and refurbish Cardiff Castle in the style of the Victorian Gothic Revival.
