Chimneypiece in the Summer Smoking Room, Cardiff Castle, early 20th century

The Summer Smoking room is one of the many rooms designed by the architect, William Burges. From 1866 Burges was employed by the 3rd Marquess of Bute to redesign and refurbish Cardiff Castle in the style of the Victorian Gothic Revival.
