Mining Mechanical Apprentice and Mining Electrical Apprentice, Big Pit National Coal Museum

Contract: 37 hours per week. Permanent.
Salary: Grade B (£17,161.57–£19,295.98). This will increase to Grade C (£19,169.56–£23,602.38) when training is completed.
Closing date: 25 February 2019 (by 5pm)
Interview date: 6 March 2019

These two Apprenticeship posts are being developed to ensure that Bit Pit have the technical skills to maintain access to the historical workings.  This is an exciting opportunity to develop engineering knowledge and skills in a mining environment.
