Amgueddfa Cymru — National Museum Wales has an activity for everyone this Easter holiday.

Why not take a closer look at the Artes Mundi exhibition at the National Museum Cardiff? Easter activities include fun-packed sessions for the whole family to talk about and make art together.

Ever wanted to discover more about Easter traditions in Wales? Take a guided tour around St Fagans National History Museum over the holiday period and help make a gigantic 3D Easter egg!

Big Pit National Coal Museum, offers the chance to make merry music. Try your hand at a range of traditional instruments – there's even an opportunity to make your own musical instrument.

Swansea's National Waterfront Museum will help bring out the budding engineer in you this Easter, with a range of exciting Invention and Discovery Challenges for the whole family to learn the art of construction.

If Roman history is up your street, learn more than you thought in the Roman Childhood workshops at the National Roman Legion Museum, Caerleon.

Dre-fach Felindre's National Wool Museum offers a more relaxing activity with its unique Family Trail. Try your hand at carding, spinning, weaving and sewing as you make your way around the museum.

Amgueddfa Cymru — National Museum Wales operates seven national museums across Wales. These are National Museum Cardiff, St Fagans: National History Museum, National Roman Legion Museum, Caerleon, Big Pit: National Coal Museum, Blaenafon, National Wool Museum, Dre-fach Felindre, National Slate Museum, Llanberis and the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea, shortlisted for this year's Gulbenkian Prize for Museum of the Year.

Entry to all the museums is free, thanks to the support of the Welsh Assembly Government.
