Slovakian Representatives visit St Fagans: National History Museum

On Tuesday, 6 June, the Honorary Consul for the Slovak Republic in Wales, Nigel Payne, brought a group of senior Slovakian representatives to St Fagans: National History Museum, to give them a taste of the history of Wales.

Radovan Javorčik, the Slovak Republic UK Chargé d’Affaires and the Third Secretary of the Embassy in Britain, Zuzana Zitna, joined St Fagans Estate Manager, Andrew Dixey, for a tour of the impressive one hundred acre site on the outskirts of Cardiff, which is part of the Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales family.. The tour ended witha visit to the latest attraction at the museum, the brand new Bwyty Bardi Cafe, a stylish Welsh-Italian themed coffee shop, which opened its doors for the first time this week.

Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales operates seven national museums across Wales. These are National Museum Cardiff, St Fagans: National History Museum, National Roman Legion Museum, Caerleon, Big Pit: National Coal Museum, Blaenafon, National Wool Museum, Dre-fach Felindre, National Slate Museum, Llanberis and the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea.
