Spend the day in the glorious St Fagans gardens

With weather like this, and the sun shining, there really is no better place to be than St Fagans: National History Museum. Both the Rosery and the Italian Garden are looking their best at this time of year, and the Museum is perfect escapism for everyone who needs to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Our activites this month include:

  • 15 June – Pruning and Training Vines: Traditional methods of pruning & training grapevines at the newly restored vinery.
  • 21 June – A Tour of the Rosery: Find out more about the history of the Rosery. It looks at its best at this time of year!
  • 22 June – The History of the St Fagans Glasshouses: Find out more about the restoration project and plans for the future.

If none of these are for you, then why not come along anyway? There's plenty of things to see here. You won't be disappointed! Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales operates seven national museums across Wales. These are National Museum Cardiff, St Fagans: National History Museum, National Roman Legion Museum, Caerleon, Big Pit: National Coal Museum, Blaenafon, National Wool Museum, Dre-fach Felindre, National Slate Museum, Llanberis and the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea.
