Summer on the Waterfront

It's a summer of colour and infectious beats at Swansea's National Waterfront Museum. It's the Museum's first summer, and we are celebrating in style with fun for all the family. There's music, dancing, and lots lots more…

From Sea shanties and pirates to bongo drums and flamenco dancing, this July the National Waterfront Museum is the only place to be – and it's FREE entry.

Sitting in the heart of Swansea's Maritime Quarter, this £33.5 million museum pushes the boundaries of technology as it tells Wales's story of industry and innovation.

Adding to the thrill are some of the oldest and now technologically obsolete objects from across Wales.

The landmark building itself is a mix of old and new, incorporating a Grade II listed waterfront warehouse linked to a new breathtaking glass and slate building. It's here the city meets the marina waterfront, with cafes and shops, providing a thriving entertainment, cultural and educational centre.

With plenty of fun activities for all ages, from toddlers to pensioners, there's something for everyone. Here's a taste of what's on offer, but check out the or telephone (01792) 638950 for more.
