Joint presence gets off to a great start at the National Eisteddfod

Almost 2,000 people visited the Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales and The National Library of Wales stand at this year's National Eisteddfod in Swansea on the first day of the week-long festival. This is the first time the Museum and Library have worked together at the Eisteddfod, and it's already a great success with Eisteddfodwyr of all ages.

There's all kinds of activities taking place on the stand, which is in a great location - between the main entrance and the pink pavilion - and the joint shop is attracting loads of visitors - and customers!

It's going to be a busy week for the Museum and the Library - on the Maes and at the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea, as we get into the swing of things.
