Amgueddfa Cymru — National Museum Wales public open day

National Waterfront Museum, Swansea
21 October 2006

Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales holds its first ever public open day on Saturday 21 October.

The free day, held at the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea, will be full of informal activities, displays and workshops, giving the public a different look at the work of the museum.

Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales is changing and we’re keen to find out how we’re getting on. This is a chance for people to tell us what they like – or don’t like about Wales’s national museums.

If you’d like to know more about the day itself, visit our website – www.museumwales.ac.uk <http://www.museumwales.ac.uk/> .

Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales administers seven national museums across Wales. They are National Museum Cardiff, St Fagans: National History Museum, National Roman Legion Museum, Caerleon, Big Pit: National Coal Museum, Blaenafon, National Wool Museum, Dre-fach Felindre, National Slate Museum, Llanberis and the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea.
