Learn how to save energy at Big Pit this Half Term

Visitors to Big Pit can learn how to save energy around the house and make their own heat-saving 'Wiggly Warmer' draught-guard to take home during half-term week.

Energy Saving Week gives visitors of all ages the chance to explore different types of energy in a series of experiments designed to inform about modern energy consumption.

To make your own 'Wiggly Warmer' draught guard, simply bring along a 1kg (2lb) bag of lentils or rice.

Activities take place 30 October-3 November, 11 am-4 pm.
