Learn how to save energy at Big Pit this Half Term

2006-11-01Visitors to Big Pit can learn how to save energy around the house and make their own heat-saving 'Wiggly Warmer' draught-guard to take home during half-term week.
Energy Saving Week gives visitors of all ages the chance to explore different types of energy in a series of experiments designed to inform about modern energy consumption.
To make your own 'Wiggly Warmer' draught guard, simply bring along a 1kg (2lb) bag of lentils or rice.
Activities take place 30 October-3 November, 11 am-4 pm.
Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales operates seven national museums across Wales. These are National Museum Cardiff; St Fagans: National History Museum; National Roman Legion Museum, Caerleon; Big Pit: National Coal Museum, Blaenafon; National Wool Museum, Dre-fach Felindre; National Slate Museum, Llanberis and the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea.
