Get crafty with buttons!

Feeling crafty? Want to put those creative talents of yours into good use?

Then come along to the National Waterfront Museum this weekend (Saturday 18 September) and put your skills into practise at Make & Mend.

From 1.30-3.30pm, the upcycling workshop will give you the chance to delve into the button box and turn something old into something brand new.

Speaking about the workshop, Events Officer Miranda Berry said: “It’s a great opportunity to come along and discover all the cool and quirky things you can do with buttons – you’ll be amazed at the possibilities!”

This will be the fourth and final workshop in the current series of Make & Mend, but plans are already underway for a winter programme which includes themes such as Fleece & Fibres, Festive Decorations, Diaries & Calendars and Hearts - just in time for Valentine’s Day!

Each workshop costs £3 per person and is ideal for those aged 16 and over.

Please book early to avoid disappointment (01792) 638950.
