Highlights Audio Guide - Discover the Treasures of Wales

Some of Wales' sexiest voices are being used to make your visit to Cardiff's National Museum & Gallery just a little bit more special, proving that learning a little bit more can actually be fun.

NMG has launched its very own bilingual Highlight Audio Guide, to make sure that visitors can make the most of their time in its galleries and exhibition areas. Using some of Wales' best known voices, NMG's guide adds to the visitor experience by offering additional information and background to a wide range of items in the collections.

Visitors can now amble their way through the Museum's archaeological collection listening to the dulcit tones of renowned actor, Philip Madoc, describing objects such as the gold Oxwich Brooch and the Capel Garmon Fire Dog. Or why not set aside a whole afternoon to inspect the Museum's impressive art collection to the sultry accompaniment of bright young thing Matthew Rhys? What better way to learn about some of the world's most romantic paintings than by having Cardiff born RSC star Matthew whispering in your ear?

And for men, there's always the ever-sexy voice of top actress Siân Phillips, who will guide you through the Museum's art collections.

Bilingual Highlights Audio Guides are available from the information desk in the Museum's main hall. They encompass the archaeological and art collections. A small deposit will be required.

Entry to the National Museum & Gallery is free, thanks to the support of the Welsh Assembly Government.
