People’s Collection Wales joins the dot.cymru / dot.wales community

People’s Collection Wales is the latest organisation to transfer its website across to the new .cymru / .wales domains.

People’s Collection Wales is a website dedicated to discovering the story of Wales and its people. A dynamic and bilingual experience, the People’s Collection Wales website is full of fascinating photographs, documents, stories and videos detailing the history and heritage of Wales. As a uniquely Welsh website, created for, and contributed to, by members of the Welsh public, the adoption of dot.cymru / dot.wales domains is a natural transition for the site.

People’s Collection Wales is part of the Founders Programme and joins a host of other organisations across Wales creating a recognisable Welsh presence on the web.

Speaking of the adoption of the new dot.cymru / dot.wales domain names, People’s Collection Wales Programme Director Rheinallt Ffoster-Jones said “People’s Collection Wales is delighted to be a founder of this exciting programme.

“Our organisation is proud to represent Welsh communities and their history online and being part of this initiative and emphasising our Welsh identity is an important step for us.”
