Diary Marker: Open Meeting of the Board of Trustees

Seiont Manor Hotel, Llanrug near Caernarfon

Members of the public who are interested in the work of Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales, are invited to observe the Museum’s quarterly board meeting in the Seiont Manor Hotel near Caernarfon on Thursday, 18 June 2015 from 10.45am-1pm. There will be an opportunity to meet with the Board and Executive afterwards. Lunch will be available 1pm-2pm.

 

The meeting is part of a wider visit to explore ways in which Amgueddfa Cymru can broaden its current range of strategic partners and learning developments across Wales and specifically in the Pioneer Areas.

The Board of Trustees - the governing body of Amgueddfa Cymru, which is responsible for the management and administration of the finances and property of the Museum – has the authority to decide on any matter relating to the affairs of Amgueddfa Cymru.

Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales administers seven national museums across Wales. They are National Museum Cardiff; St Fagans: National History Museum; National Roman Legion Museum, Caerleon; Big Pit: National Coal Museum, Blaenafon; National Wool Museum, Dre-fach Felindre; National Slate Museum, Llanberis and the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea.
