A taste of the Good Life - Farmers' Market Comes to St Fagans

If you fancy some Vale of Glamorgan lamb, accompanied by fresh, organic vegetables or some organic wine from the vineyars of Cowbridge, the Museum of Welsh Life can offer you a taste of the good life with its new monthly farmers' markets. A large range of free-range and organic produce from local farms and small rural businesses will be available at the Museum of Welsh Life, starting this Saturday, 26 February.

Very few settings can be more appropriate and pleasing than the grounds of St Fagans for traditional and wholesome foods. With historic gardens and orchards, woodlands and Welsh rare breeds of sheep and cattle dotted all over the museums' 104 acres, the farmers' markets is a welcome addition to the feel good and fresh air factor at St Fagans.

Timber products, beeswax and candles will also be available at the market with of course, the Museum's very own Derwen Bakehouse producing award winning organic bread to accompany those lovely cheeses and preserves.

The Museum of Welsh Life Farmers' Market will run from 10am until 1pm every 4th Saturday in the month, starting on Saturday 26th February.
