Big Pit reach final four for prestigious Museum award

2005-03-21We are delighted to announce that Big Pit has beaten off stiff competition to reach the final four in the prestigious Gulbenkian Prize for Museum of the Year. The announcement will take place at 7.00 pm on Radio 4's Front Row programme. Hopefully, you will see coverage in the press and media on Tuesday. We will not be releasing any comment until after the announcement. The press release will then appear on the NMGW website.
Many thanks to all of you who have supported Big Pit's bid over the past few months. The final announcement will be made at the end of May.
