Cardiff Science Festival

Come and join the National Museum & Gallery on 9 July for a day full of activities in celebration of science in Cardiff, as part of the first ever Cardiff Science Festival, which is held from 7

A host of activities will be available for the whole family, including an opportunity to meet Mr Bugg himself, create a robot and experience our very own bubble show. As well as these, you can all also take part in our painting workshops, and play the game 'Identify'! From the Science of Chocolate to a chance to learn about Einstein's theories, 9 July offers something for everyone at the National Museum & Gallery.

The Museum joins forces with Cardiff University, Techniquest, British Association for the Advancement of Science and many others to present a whole host of fun, hands-on science activities for families in and around the civic and city centre.

The National Museum & Gallery, Cardiff is one of six museums currently operated by the National Museums & Galleries of Wales. Other NMGW sites are Museum of Welsh Life, St Fagans, Big Pit: National Mining Museum, Blaenafon - winner of this year's prestigious Gulbenkian Prize - Roman Legionary Museum, Caerleon, National Woollen Museum, Dre fach Felindre and the Welsh Slate Museum, Llanberis. Opening later this year is the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea, telling the stories of the peoples, industry and innovation of Wales.

Entry to all national museums is free, thanks to the support of the Welsh Assembly Government.
