Amgueddfa Cymru — National Museum Wales Council Meets in London

The Council of Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales will meet at London's Imperial War Museum on Thursday 8 December.

Director of Communications, Robin Gwyn, said:

“It is very important that we develop relationships with as many organisations as possible over the next year as we approach our centenary year in 2007. Our visit to London is an excellent opportunity for us to go to a wide range of museums and galleries, not only as part of our relationship building work but also as a chance to examine good practice in other organisations.

“This visit has also given us an opportunity to organise a special reception for some of our supporters who live and work outside Wales, including those involved in organisations such as the London Welsh and the Cymmrodorion. This is one of the first events we've organised to promote our centenary, and many more events will be taking place in Wales and beyond over the next few months.”

The Council of Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales meets regularly during the year. These meetings are open to the public. For a full list of meeting dates over the coming year, contact the press office.
